Encyrtidae

in Fascinating Insects5 years ago

Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

After struggling for a couple of hours to identify this little insect, I think I have finally found its name. It is a species of parasitic bee whose scientific name is "Encyrtidae". I don't know if you can tell, but it's so small it's about the same size as my hair follicles. No, I'm just exaggerating, but it is one of the smallest insects I've ever seen. It turns out they are very good for pest control and although I have no idea how they got on my desk I am very happy to know it is not a flea.

Hola.

Bienvenidos a mi blog.
