Wasps and Boroco plants

Hello Guys ...

Welcoming in my blog...

We, and the nature around us, live in need of each other, in space and time

Has some very aggressive characters in every perch, never afraid of anything, even though he is approached but he still ignores, but be careful because he doesn't like to be disturbed

(Slender-tailed wasp ®2021)

Here they are the conquerors who always dominate any habitat that has the potential of a nectar, especially when in a plant like a Boroco plant or in our region say a saltwater lavender plant.

Beautiful mornings, like the previous days, always pass and approach locations that are usually passed when going to work as a routine agenda for daily activities. On the roadside right on the sidewalk as a barrier to a large dam, there is always a Boroco plant or saltwater lavender (as our residents call it), this plant has just developed and grown about 1 month ago, this phenomenon is the work of the residents, as a social work in reforesting nature around the big dam.

Yesterday, when it passed by it still seemed to be growing and healthy in nature suitable for its development, growing with every second of the turning of the clock, it was seen in its increasing size or shape. Salt water that covers all the leaves, branches, and petals, becomes something he really needs, so that it continues to grow like other plants that grow in soil that has sufficient nutrients.

The land where they thrive has less fresh water potential, or you can call it brackish, but amazingly they still grow in space and time, even though in recent days it rains frequently in this area.

As they continue to develop themselves no insect species will enjoy every bit of nectar tucked into each side of the inner petals. Seen in the past few days there were no fans to play in his body. It is not known why insect species such as butterflies, bees, wasps, and some nectar-loving species do not approach it.

However...

Today, to be exact, this Wednesday, November 2021, he received his first guest since they were born and grew up in this special region. Whether it was days ago that every insect species had not been detected that there was abundant food available here, or if there was something that could hinder their visit, that I myself did not understand.

This beautiful waisted wasp, looks very aggressive, it looks like it is infiltrating the flower petal sensor, no other group is accompanying it. So that he is very free, surveying the entire body of the Boroco plant with satisfaction, each petal one by one is traced with perseverance and confidence to get food in the form of flower nectar.

His very enthusiastic behavior in getting a bunch of nectar looks very aggressive, you can see it in some of the pictures below.

a) Coming from afar, then perched on a Boroco flower petal, it seemed that he didn't feel any complaints when he stopped. Prepare everything necessary to carry out the initial mission while in that state

b) After paying close attention to every single stem of Boroco flower petals, he found what he was looking for, then began to carry out routine tasks like the days he had gone through.

c) He found the initial nectar in a flower side that was to the west, then he buried his head into the thick flower petals, here he had found his meaning

d) When a certain point has been completed, it will move to another location, of course still in the petals of the Boroco flower next to it, by lifting its body, relying on its wings

e) Lifting his body by flying is not difficult for them, for example humans walking, besides the location of other flowers is very close to the initial petals that have been left behind

f) This wasp is still curious about the initial petals, maybe there is still a little nectar in the initial petals, but the nature of this behavior is unknown, always moving and always visiting the initial location

g) Circling around the petals means that the wasp always checks every trail that has been passed, really a careful behavior in determining a situation

h) Finally before he left the location, he continued to enjoy every little petal space in their daily mission immerse

Finally it leaves an area that has potential for nectar in a very healthy Boroco flower cluster, as a result of adequate nutrition in a soil.

Likewise for me, leaving him in a comfortable situation, being in that area is a very pleasant thing, in life. Meanwhile I reactivated the vehicle key and went in the next direction. Thank you for visiting, good luck always.
