i missed all the drama. as it was 85min and nothing was happening i went to make diner so i could eat while watching the extra time.
So i missed the Leno save and ASR red card. I was sure that there is no VAR today because of that clear penalty on Auba, but it was weird that refs were letting the play go for the offsides. So looks like there was VAR and they thought it was not a penalty.
Tierney is one of our best players and from the time we stopped playing him in the formation of 3 defenders he is on fire.
Lacazette is on form and plays really well with ASR and Saka. With this formation he is more useful in the central attacking role than Auba.
Martinelli is really unlucky. seen the video of how he injured himself, really stupid way to go out. I hope it was just a scare of injury reaction and that he will be up and running soon.
I really feel for martinelli. The boy just wants to be on the pitch. I think it was more of a precaution than an injury though. Has there been any word from management?
