Racing Genk vs FC Antwerp
Racing Genk is without a loss so far during these playoffs not so much because they dominated their matches being the better team, but because their Offensive Trio (Ito-Onuachu-Bongonda) make all the difference for them. The main bet in their matches I have been eying is Genk Team Total over which systematically is delivering. Fatigue is becoming more of an issue though as they have been the starters in all their matches so far. They do have a good alternative with Dessers on the bench. They are 2nd in the league and are 6 points clear of both Anderlecht and Antwerp with 4 points behind against Club Brugge who play the evening match. So regardless of what happens, Genk will need/want to play for the full win today. Antwerp ha 2 losses and 2 draws during the playoffs but actually deserved a lot more. In many of their matches, Defense was just better than the offense so I don't expect this one to be a wide-open start of the match. The moment they get behind, things do become a lot more open. The only betting opportunity that tempts me in this match is the 1H under line purely as a trading position. Antwerp no longer competes for spot 2 and likely would be happy going home with a draw putting pressure on Anderlecht. I took a small-medium pre-game bet on
1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.972 and will for sure scale out of it taking profit in-game if possible.
Anderlecht vs Club Brugge
Club Brugge was extremely nervous in their mast match but managed to win it defending a 2-1 lead late in the match successfully. Both the goals they scored and the FT whistle gave them huge relief but they aren't home quite yet to be the champions even though a draw is enough. If they lose and Genk wins today, they play a direct duel where Genk will have a real shot without nerves to become champion still while Club Brugge will have to play with huge stress. Anderlecht has put up some decent performances during the playoffs but always just fell short. Right now they still play for 3rd place which they can seal with a win in case Antwerp loses against Racing Genk which is a result they will know in advance. This will have an influence on how open the match will be as a loss or a draw is pretty much the same result when it comes down to the standings in that case. I do still see Club Brugge as without a doubt the better of the 2 teams but mind games at this stage of the playoffs will once again be a factor especially knowing how Anderlecht has put some solid performances against Club. I was close to taking Club Brugge +0 @ 1.824 a few days ago but needed to look for confirmation that a draw did make them champion seeing the odds drop during that period. Club Brugge was not shy to play with a lot of focus on defense getting the job done in the matches against Antwerp and I don't think they will go all out from the start today knowing how Anderlecht also tends to play defensively. The 2.5 over line at even is quite tempting but too much depends on when the first goal comes to really break things open so I'm opting to keep betting exclusively for in-game. In the best-case scenario, Anderlecht takes the lead for Club Brugge to make a comeback
