Lembro muito bem da época em que rumores diziam que Neymar iria rescindir seu contrato com o Al Hilal e que o Santos poderia ser o destino do craque brasileiro.
Além dos rumores, veio então o anúncio de sua contratação. O Brasil inteiro ficou impressionado, pois um jogador desse porte voltar para o Brasil agora é algo muito impensável. Por outro lado, vieram também os questionamentos sobre sua condição física e que o próprio técnico Jorge Jesus uma vez disse que Neymar não estava pronto para servir a Seleção Brasileira. Hoje percebemos que JJ estava correto.
Neymar até hoje não conseguiu apresentar um bom futebol e muito menos uma sequência positiva. Diante disso, problemas de ego com o time só acumulam e não é à toa que o Santos está na zona do rebaixamento. A última derrota para o Flamengo por 3 - 2 no Maracanã, só deixou uma situação bem pior para o time paulista.
Agora são 55% de chance de cair para a série B. Faltam apenas 5 rodadas para o fim do campeonato e os próximos desafios mostram para o seu torcedor que as chances de permanência são bem pequenas. É lógico que a culpa não é somente de Neymar, mas a figura de líder que muitos imaginavam que ele seria dentro e fora de campo, acabou não acontecendo até agora.
Uma Mancha que Nunca irá se Apagar
Santos fazia parte do seleto grupo dos gigantes brasileiros que nunca haviam caído para a série B que Flamengo e São Paulo fazem parte atualmente. Mas em 2023, tudo mudou. Dessa vez Neymar será o grande protagonista caso a queda seja concretizada no fim do campeonato. Seus problemas físicos podem ser um grande perigo para que ele consiga ajudar os companheiros de time. Inclusive, no último jogo, sua atitude não foi bem aceita pela mídia esportiva e muito menos pelos torcedores, quando foi substituído no fim do segundo tempo. O placar era de 3 - 0 para o Flamengo e Neymar questionou o técnico Vojvoda do porquê foi retirado.
Sabemos que existe hierarquia no futebol e apesar de que Neymar, é o Neymar, isso não tira o dever dele de ser obediente nas decisões do seu treinador. Após a substituição, ele desceu para o vestiário e nem viu os seus companheiros fazerem dois gols e quase terem empatado a partida. Curiosamente após sua saída, o time do Santos melhorou e deu trabalho para o Flamengo, mas não foi suficiente para conseguir um ponto.
Nem para Carlo Ancelloti, Neymar hoje não é unanimidade na Seleção Brasileira, pois o técnico foi bem claro sobre a volta de Neymar e tudo vai depender de sua condição física. Seria um desastre não termos ele na Copa do Mundo, mas entendo que para estar na maior competição de futebol do mundo, o jogador além de querer, tem que merecer estar lá e se fosse para ir hoje, acho que até ele saberia que não estaria pronto.
A fuga pelo rebaixamento continua, mas caso não seja possível e a queda chegar, quem ou quais serão os responsáveis? Não acho que colocar a culpa somente em Neymar seria o certo. Até porque não é apenas ele dentro de campo, mas o time, a torcida e o time desde o seu retorno tiveram uma grande esperança pelo seu futebol. Por isso, acredito que Neymar precisa mais do que nunca ajudar o time e ser mais compreensível sobre as suas responsabilidades.
Será uma pena, o time de Pelé ter seu segundo rebaixamento na sua história e resta apenas poucas rodadas para reverter essa situação. O pior é que não depende apenas do Santos, pois as outras equipes que estão na parte debaixo da tabela não vão deixar as coisas fáceis. O próximo desafio do Santos será contra o líder Palmeiras e essa será uma ótima oportunidade de que Neymar e seus companheiros de time terão para começar uma reação.
