I agree with you but the turning point was definitely the Netflix series. What I don't like is they are looking for drama to create more hype instead of managing the sport properly.

If I have to be brutally honest, I possessed an interest for formula 1. But I didn't understand how the sport works, basic rules etcetera. Then I stumbled upon that series. Watched a couple seasons. And I must say their plan worked.
And the media engagement team and the logistics department don't work hand in hand. So there's that. But formula 1 logistics are already complex enough. They are trying to maximize competition by imposing certain rules such as budget caps
