I have never heard of him and from my understanding if you are any good you hit the scene hard no matter what players are still around. The likes of Djokovic and Nadal are already past their prime so the new guns should already be stepping up and there doesn't seem to be that special player around.

well he ended up losing yesterday to Nole, but he put on a good show and even won a set. I would imagine that he will make a real mark on the sport in the future as he will likely be back in the top ten after this showing. Djokovic just looks unbeatable though.
