Everyone seems to get injured and you are right just because you won does not mean you came out unscathed either. Reminds me I need to look up what fighting is happening in Eastern Europe because I find those tournaments way more interesting. Thermopylae Team Combat is a must see.

I've watched that before. It is both hilarious and terrifying . There was another style of fighting that was 5 on 5 arena style but it simply didn't work because people would just gang up on one dude and after they were a man down the team with the greater numbers would always win.
I think this would work better if the 3 guys waiting were outside of the ring though.
