Interesting Soccer Training in a Scorching Sun ☀

in Sports Talk Social2 years ago (edited)

Good day, beautiful people! The training we did this time was different from what we usually do. We always try to bring in new fitness, exercises drills, and ball tactics to improve in every part of our game and we can see that it's paying off.

After the regular warmup like jogging and stretching, we did exercises to improve shooting which is leg exercises. We noticed some of the boys don't have good shot power and we have to improve on that part so we did the exercises that will gradually improve their shot power. The exercises were not captured as we were all engaged but I'm going to mention the exercises' names; Wall sit x3, Lunges, Squatting, and Scissor jumps.

Thereupon, we moved on to what you see as the first photo or post thumbnail. That's a tennis court defined with cones.

The tennis court practice will improve the boys' football controls on the pitch. We use tyre to indicate the middle of the court, normally, it was supposed to be demarcated with a net that has good height but since we don't have that, we used an alternative and it works. The boys were selected 3 vs 3 on each side with a five-count as the target. The first team to hit 5 will continue and the weak team goes out for another team. It was rotated many times and we enjoyed the fun.

After the tennis practice, we practice some of the drills we did during the week. In the photos below, the first photo is the goalkeeper and a fresher, and the second photo by the right are the DFA's prodigies.

After the exercises, and explaining the theoretical techniques of playing a shot; If you want to play a shot, keep your ankle locked, move your weak foot a bit in front of the ball and play the ball from the middle of the ball with the lace of your strong foot. The ball will hit hard if you do it very well as said here. After giving them the tips, they practicalized it. With time and continuous practices, everybody in the team will have a heavy shot just like Roberto Carlos :)

We took a short break after the shooting practice because the sun was scorching, it was very hot and most of us are dehydrated, we took a few minutes break to take cold pure sachet water and then resume back to the field.

On resuming, we played a side game involving 6 vs 6. One side with a goalkeeper and the other side with no goalkeeper, it was a great game as the boys showed some good skills and the Tiki-Taka techniques. The training was very interesting aside from the scorching sun ☀
