Several teams from England took the field yesterday in the third round of the FA Cup. Liverpool vs Arsenal and Manchester City vs Huddersfield matches were two of the main attractions. Arsenal lost 2-0 at home to Liverpool despite Pep Guardiola's Manchester City thrashing 5-0. The loss saw Arsenal win just one of their last five matches after a poor start to the season.

Yesterday Manchester City faced Huddersfield at their home ground in the third round of the FA Cup. In all aspects, the host Manchester City was ahead in this match. Moreover, as this match was held at their home ground, the victory was predictable for Pep Guardiola's team. In the field, Manchester City proved their strength well!

Guardiola rested many of his regular XI against Huddersfield. However, in this match, Ruben Dias, Foden, Jack Grealis, and Argentine star Alvarez were in the eleven. Kevin de Bruyne returns from injury after a long day. From the beginning of this match, Manchester City started playing with influence. However, the City players could not score any goals in the first third of the match. After two-thirds, they collected five goals.

In the 33rd minute of the match, Phil Foden scored the first goal for the team. As a result, Manchester City went ahead for the first time in the match. 4 minutes later Julian Alvarez scored the second goal for the team. Manchester City could not score any more goals in the first half. As a result, the team went into the break with a 2-0 lead. Phil Foden and Docu grabbed two of the three goals after the break. Huddersfield's Ben Jackson scored another goal for Manchester City. As a result, Manchester City left the field with a huge 5-0 victory.

Arsenal and Liverpool met in another FA Cup match. The host Arsenal had to lose despite a good performance in this match. As a result of this loss, Arsenal lost points in four of the last five matches. But Mikel Arteta's team started this season in a bad way. A few days ago, the team drew against Liverpool at Liverpool's ground. But suddenly why so degraded?

Arsenal had the entire first half of yesterday's match. With one attack after another, they were advancing towards the goal of Liverpool. But Liverpool's superb defense and Alisson's impeccable goalkeeping repeatedly failed the hosts. On the other hand, Arsenal conceded two goals at the end of the match. As a result, the team left the F-A Cup with a 2-0 loss!

If I was giving the chance who to pick to win the FA, I would have unconvincingly choose Man City because they have the bullets to win and with KDB back from injury, it's a very good add up. Nice write up
