Leicester to go for Lingard

Summer always means a lot of transfer rumors. One of the more persistent has been that Arsenal should be ready to pay 90 million for the English national team player James Maddison. If the deal becomes a reality, Leicester will probably have to go out and bring in a player who can cover the gap in the offense. Here the election should have landed on Jesse Lingard.

The 28-year-old Englishman was on a loan spell at West Ham in the last half of last season, after Lingard had smoked completely out in the cold at Ole Gunner Solskjær. It turned into nine goals and six assists in 16 Premier League clashes for West Ham, which has now caught Leicester's attention.

Jesse Lingard is a product of Manchester United's youth work. There were high hopes when he was promoted to United's first team. However, expectations have never been met, which is why it may be time for Lingard to seek new pastures. It has turned into 210 matches in the United shirt with 33 goals and 20 assists as a result.

Would be nice having this exciting English here switch to the foxes. After seeing him impressed in the West Ham team last season I believe Wichita should have been and it will do well at the club. Returning to Manchester United will only restrict his game and confidence as we will always become second fiddle which is not a good thing for the player.

I hope the James Madison move to Arsenal eventually goes through so the club who have enough money to fund the acquisition of this attacking player. For leceister to do much in this new season they will need to inject one or two exciting players and I believe this man United player will be a great addition.

I am in it I'm a little surprised why West Ham didn't sign on a permanent deal as you did really well under those few games he played. Really impressive statistics he had. I guess it was just because of the dinner and which they signed or United not willing to let him go yet. I hope the switch to Manchester United comes to fruition before the deadline day of the transfer window.
