I think that England ahs a good and young team. the thing that they are missing is a "connecting" player that glues them together. Some kind of leader that steps up when the games are not going their way. I agree with you that the Coach might be not the correct quality but he was able to bring them into the Euros final. I believe that he has a very difficult job to do as he is constanly under investigation by the media as well.
All in all I would not paint everything black before the World Cup but it certainly wont be an easy tournament.
That Euro Final they got to, they were lucky and that's why the trophy went to Rome instead. He isn't the quality coach England needs because they have a good and decent team. Trust me, the media are going easy on him. Imagine if that was Mourinho.
