I have taken over a year without jogging and I have always wanted to resume but lacked that spark hehe.
If I can remember, I last jogged I guess in January of 2020 and have been lazy ever since.
I have been playing football though in the neighbourhood here and I have been enjoying it.
I used to wonder why professional soccer players would feel bad when left on the bench or not given enough playing until I began playing soccer daily!!
There is a way soccer or football is fucking addictive whereby you want to do it daily.
I remember I played soccer consecutively like for 3 months!
Anyway, this post is about jogging!!! Let us get back to my jogging today hehe.
So these last days I have been feeling feverish and also began(or developed) flu-like symptoms.
In the past whenever I develop such weird symptoms, which would rarely happen, I would jog the next day.
So it happened today morning that I woke up at 5:45 am and I was like fuck it, why not jog today.
Me waking up early today was the spark I had been waiting for, so I got my shoes and off I was.
As you can see from the above image, I jogged for 4km in half an hour.
I always do not jog for long, I just do it to deactivate some shit from my system, I do not jog like I have a competition coming up hehe.
These images are from Google Fit App and those are the details it recorded, which says my average space was 6:35/km.
I felt so good today after that jog which I later accompanied with a heavy breakfast of millet porridge, bananas and g. nuts.
So folks if you get time to jog do it as it sets a good mood for your day and it lets you register your first success of the day.
I consider jogging a success because it is hard work to wake up early at 5:50 am just to go and jog!!!
If you are able to wake and jog then chances are high that you will accomplish most of the day's tasks.
