I absolutely love respect shown between two fighters because that is what martial arts is supposed to be about.
I think some people are criticizing Holland for committing to stand-up striking against Wonderboy instead of trying to out-grapple him. Holland may have had a better chance of winning then, even if it would have been less entertaining for the viewers?
I watched the fight again and there were several instances where Holland just took him down, immediately got off him, and motioned for him to get up. I did find that kind of odd but in the end it wouldn't have mattered unless he got a KO. The word is that Holland's hand was broken quite early in the fight.
