3 Points + Clean Sheet For Liverpool vs Aston Villa.

Today is really a full course highlight of footballing banquet for our viewing pleasure. A total of 7 games were played in the EPL alone between 4pm to 11pm, Nigerian time.

We don't complain though.

I watched two full games and the first half of the super Saturday fixture between Tottenham and Chelsea.

As you would expect, my major focus was on Liverpool.

Because of our recent poor form, I wasn't sure of what to expect. However, the Liverpool we saw today was very similar to the Liverpool we enjoyed watching last season.

They were not sluggish at the back. Instead, they pressed properly from the attacking line and forced Aston Villa to commit a bunch of defensive errors.

We were able to score 3 goals in this game although 1 got ruled out by VAR for offside.

Since we didn't conceded an early goal or any goal at all, like we've been doing this season, we were able to kill off the game while dictating play for the vast majority of the game.

It felt good to see Liverpool keep a clean sheet again. It felt even better to see us win games without having to grind out wins!

This sure hasn't been an easy season.

It's too early to be carried away though!

We are already knocked out of the EFL Cup competition. We are far behind in the Premier League. We already lost a game in the Champions League and we have a tough mid-week game against Real Madrid.

Yeah!

We can't dwell on tonight's win for too long. Instead, we need to focus on getting a win against Madrid and Man City a week from now.

Arsenal Isn't Making The EPL Job Easy.

For real!

Arsenal is at the top of the Premier League table and waiting for them to drop points isn't a fun experience. Haha. They are just too good and their squad depth is enviable.

They won again today while also keeping a clean sheet. This is really looking like the season they will finally win a trophy or even multiple trophies.

The season is still a long one though. For now, we go one game at a time.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

We need to get our act together and win bit by bit

Slot changed too much too fast and he has realized this.

Play styles should change naturally...

I'll watch the Real Madrid match and I'm hoping to see a great show...

Yeah, Bro. That's the same thing I spoke about yesterday.

We got all these new flashy signings and made too much effort to fit them all into the squad too soon. We tried to change our playing style to fit all of them and that haven't helped us in any way.

Now, we need to go back to the system that worked last year and gradually integrate new signings into that system. That's what Klopp does with new signings.

Now, all attention goes to Real Madrid.

Liverpool is actually and will definitely bounce back. I am so sure of that
