Seems to be pretty quiet today here for sports discussion. After plenty of international events (football Eurocup, cycling tour de France, Olympics...), it is now time for national leagues of all sports. I know most people mostly follow football here, but any other sports y'all are interested in?

I used to like going to Hockey matches live at the Stadium, go Red Wings! But for some reason, I just can't spend the time to watch full games on TV, too many commercial breaks maybe.
Anything interesting going on with the NFL preseason? If I'm not mistaken, the real season should start in just a few weeks.
Yea, nothing beats the experience of being there at the rink!

Cowboys lost the hall of fame game to the Steelers, so no big news there LOL
I remember getting very cheap tickets for one of the Lions preseason game years ago. It was indeed not that great, even live. When I went back for a real game, it was so much better, even though the Lions sucked as often.
Maybe I'll try following American football a little bit this year. One more sport to watch on TV on weekends!

After so many years in the US, I still watch just a few games here and there, so not sure it will really change. But I'll read your posts about American football.
I would say basketball but the main season is done so not sure if I am paying attention as much.
Yeah, we're still a long way from the new NBA season, and even European leagues don't start very soon from what I remember.
Indeed a really quiet day with little or no football matches today. Apart from football, basketball and tennis seems to catch my interest. Especially tennis. Not any interesting tournament ongoing
