The point isn't exactly about whether they'd win or not. But rather about how their style has also diminished along with their results as well as their clubs merely serving as talents factories for other clubs.

Van Persie, Robben, and I would even add Wesley Sneijder were legends of that era. However, the style of football just wasn't what the Dutch were historically all about.
