RE: Tyson Fury defeats Deontay Wilder in an all out boxing WAR (bonus unexpected rant as I wrote this)

Hi, I didn't see the dudes as being neck to neck, then an extra 40pounds of weight did the trick.Nope please watch again.
A closer look will reveal that Fury was ahead in body movement, ring management, match plan(which meant closing the space between them and thus making Wilder's magic right hand less effective) and landing punches.
Ofcourse using his weight was part of the strategy- it was intentional he put on weight for this fight. But Fury has always used his weight as an advantage because he knows how to– not every heavyweight his size and weight can do this: IT IS A UNIQUE SKILL.

Please here is my post, to appreciate some more on the difference. Happy viewing guys:

I mean Wilder dropped Fury twice and almost finished him

Dropping him twice is not in question. "Almost finishing him" is a subjective view. Another person can say Fury "almost finished" Wilder many times in that bout.

Your analysis of things is quite good, infact excellent most times, just some little rough edges, eg "Deontay is faster, more athletic, has a more potent one punch knockout power,.."

You can't say Wilder is faster, no one says that in boxing circles. Fury is faster, infact that is his strong point. Please see my fresh post to help on thishttps://peakd.com/hive-101690/@ogeewitty/chronicles-of-a-great-all-time-bout.

That a boxer is fat and lanky doesn't mean he is slow, speed in boxing is something else, people like the retired Oscar de la Hoya,Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather jnr are speed merchants. Usyk who beat Anthony Joshua recently beat him essentially because he was faster than Joshua, apart from the punches he packed. PLS SEE MY POST ABOVE.
Yeah you can say Wilder is more athletic,or better put MORE ATHLETICALLY BUILT, NOT more athletic,if we must be accurate. Heavyweight boxing has it's standards on athlectism, that you are built like RoboCop doesn't necessarily make you more athletic.

But ofcourse you are spot-on, when you talk about Wilder having the more potent one punch knock-out(and most other aspects of your write-up too), It is beyond question in boxing circles too. My post encapsulates all these.

Cheers
