Life Without Ole.

Manchester United got off to a flying start in a much-needed match win to seal their passage to the Round of 16 in the Champions League. Manchester United got a win after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was shown the exit door and this should be a good morale booster with the game against Chelsea to come in the league.

Manchester United had to wait too late into the game before getting the first goal and De Gea produced some brilliant stops to deny Villarreal earlier in the game. United got 2 late goals to win against Villarreal on their turf, courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sancho; who got his first United goal after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sack. United already qualified from the group and would only need a point to seal their top spot in the group when they play against Young Boys who they lost to in the first game of the campaign.

Villarreal got the first chance of the game in the 5th minute when Gomez powered a shot from the edge of the box that De Gea was up to as he denied that golden chance. De Gea saved another chance in the 27th minute after Manu Trigueros was found inside the box. Villarreal kept having a go at Manchester United defence line but De Gea kept denying the Yellow Submarines.

It wasn't meant to be for Villarreal as Manu Trigueros was denied again in the 58th minute with the brilliant and strong hand of De Gea. That proved to be the turning point and the save that still kept Manchester United in the game.

Manchester United got a chance of their own in the 71st minute after substitute, Bruno Fernandes and Sancho exchange passes which led to Sancho being set up inside the box. His effort was blocked off by the goalkeeper after going one on one with the goalkeeper.

Villarreal conceded the first goal of the game in the 78th minute after a terrible pass from the goalkeeper was pounced on by Fred after he challenged Capoue and the ball found its way to Cristiano Ronaldo who produced a lobbed effort as the ball found its way into the back of the net to give United the lead.

Ronaldo had another chance in the 84th minute after Wan Bissaka tried to find Ronaldo at the other end of the pitch but Foyth heads it to perfectly set up Ronaldo. He tried another volley on the side but this time around it wasn't on target.

United got the second goal of the game to condemn Villarreal to a defeat after Rashford was found in the 90th minute. He picked out Fernandes who then picked out Sancho. Sancho went for power as his shot came off the underside of the bar and went in to give United a 2-0.

Life after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got off to a winning start for United and the real test comes against Chelsea in the league.

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.

Hopefully, they don't keep carrick cause he won that match 😆

Lol... Ole also started like that. Regardless of his performance, I doubt Carrick is ready for that job.

Exactly my fear, these board people can be mad.

The board can be so annoying... True.

Very, so everything is expected.

It would be worse than Moyes regime.

Let's just pray because I hope it isn't some fry pan to fire situation.

Exactly... Carrick is not ready yet.

Hahaha they would be foolish to. I hope they did with Giggs with him and let him be without promoting him to being a coach. See how Lampard also struggled. Lack of experience would always tell.

At this point, there aren't a lot of options for coaches so I don't trust the board not to promote him if he wins Chelsea and the rest.

That's right...but they should have sense o and know that even Moyes got results before now and even Solskjaer. I hope they have sense sha. I am hearing Pochettino but I don't want him too.

I don't want poch at all, I am mad at Zidane for rejecting the job mehn.

Also hearing Poch doesn't want it, maybe they should beg Ferguson to come back 😆

I heard Poch wanted it o... A chance to come back to the PL plus Ferguson wanted him a long time ago. I don't want Zidane. He has experience, yes but he is too laid back for me and thank God the language barrier is a plus too because I don't want him.

I read a report that he said he was happy in PSG and what not but let's see though.

True, Zidane is laid back but right now the options are very limited.

Great start to life under a new reign. An unconvincing first half shows there's still a lot of work to do.

Exactly. The first half wasn't impressive and if not for how De Gea kept United in the game...it would have been the same story. Let's see how they fare with Chelsea.
