Fernando Santos (Portugal head coach) is not a coach that always loose but the lost against Spain and it's like a big loss. I said its a big loss not because of the coach or because of the tournament, it's because a world class is no more playing like a world class player anymore, it's as expected but not seems normal to him because he is a player that is addicted with winning, he doesn't appreciate or settle for loss but there's nothing that he can do since he won't be the one to score and still defend at the same time. He cries whenever he loose and it's very obvious that he was crying in that match because he couldn't save his country from loosing.
Ronaldo hate being bench and every players do, but it's whatever pays the coach that the coach would do. Maybe Ronaldo would start sitting on the bench now until he will retire from playing for his country, in other to give the young players chance of playing. He has really tried for his country, he used to be the only scorer years back, only him I mean, even before almost all the stars like Bernardo Silver, Bruno Fernandez and Co are called to the Portugal senior team so he had really tried for them even if he didn't have the chance of scoring goals again and he's still a world class footballer with experience, so he would definitely be called to the team always.
It's not even Spain goal keeper that denied Christiano Ronaldo to score, it's Pau Torres, that young star seems having magnet that he controls ball with in his leg because the way he took the last opportunity that Ronaldo had is unbelievable, he didn't even let Ronaldo think of what to do with the ball, he collected it and that really pain Ronaldo, it's not the Ronaldo that played last season is playing now, the last season Ronaldo would definitely score that ball, even if it takes him to injure the goalkeeper with his wonderful shot but it seems Ronaldo's shot didn't weigh again because he played some that the goalkeeper dusted, especially the one that goalkeeper saved with his leg.
Fernando Santos and Ronaldo's loss to Spain is an history but reason it won't really be an history is because Spain team is not a small team and they both mean business but Spain utilised their own chances, unlike Portugal. Because Ronaldo has dropped form, it made it hard for Portugal to score a goal at least. The Ronaldo in 2013 shot his shot at anywhere he's chanced to shoot but he's not shooting the shot anymore and it's making him drop form as he didn't score goals because that is what the world know Christiano Ronaldo as; the shot shooter, when his team need a goal, once a free kick is awarded to his club, he used to bring a goal but not anymore.

What happens with Ronaldo is normal.
There is no eternal "Superman" except in films, but in reality there is mental and physical aging before the body that cannot be avoided, but only delayed, and Ronaldo succeeded in postponing it.
It will always be useful.. It will appear at times and record, but its old continuity was miraculous and miracles are not repeated in this lifetime
