I am not an expert but i feel the last season was their chance to achieve something significant. I still don't know what led the exodus of Pocchetino. I liked him as a manager and I assumed he was building a good team. A yar later, we are talking about an overhauling of the team. A purge is required for salvation 👀👏

Yes, it was an opportunity missed but it was also a bit of freak occurrence that we made it there in the first place. Spurs lost 13 games in the Premier League last year, 13! That's more than one in 3. I think our real chance was in 16/17 when we finished 2nd to Chelsea. We were the best team in the league that year but we didn't win a thing. You look at Liverpool last year, they were brilliant but missed out on the title to City then came back even stronger this year. We've done the opposite getting worse, season on season
