Am not a United fan but I was one of the people who bashed him for wanting to bail out on the team. I didn’t understand what was happening at first and I didn’t understand why he wanted to leave at a time I thought the team needed him.
Now I realise he accessed the situation like he always does and then he decided it was best for him to find somewhere else to go. He didn’t make a lot of noise about leaving, he only asked the team to allow him go if a good offer came for and as you know it the media made a big deal out of it. He respected the club by asking for some days off to deal with family issues and I didn’t see anything wrong with that.
Even though he is sitting on the bench week in week out he’s still professional, he goes for training and never complains that he is not played. Rashford doesn’t press either so am confused as to what the coach wants now.
Thank you so much. You absolutely nailed this. Rashford doesn't even press and yet he keeps saying it's because Ronaldo cannot press. He keeps finding excuses not to use him and he should have allowed him go then. The coach is clueless. He has a nuclear weapon and he doesn't even know how to use him.
