If Arteta gets his tactics right. Arsenal should win a trophy this coming season. He now has a Gyokeres(proper striker) plus Jesus and Harvert. He has good wingers; Saka, Madueke, Trossard and Martineli(although wasteful).
Let's see how he rotates players in the midfield. Odegaard shouldn't be starting every game especially when his form is bad @ogeewitty

Yeah the players needed have come in(including one or two definitely on the way).
What is left is something like you said in your last paragraph. He should not be sentimental as before, he should call a spade a spade. If Odegaard isn't performing, pull him out. Same goes for Martinelli. Then rotate to keep players fresh.
If things are done on pure merit, Arsenal should indeed win something.
