Liverpool: The Best Team In England ❤️✨

in Sports Talk Social4 months ago

There are many teams who's fans would boast of being the best in England.
The ever prideful and obnoxious Manchester United, the rich and cool Manchester City or even the Short fused and unpredictable Arsenal.
These teams fans usually go head to head when the team's are playing their individual matches.
Each looking for faults in another and looking for ways to praise their own.
The fan battles could get bloody and it's a place where feelings are stepped on, relationships are broken and pride is held above everything else. (Although for onlookers and members it's a place where humor is packed!!)
Despite of what the fans of these 3 clubs and the special audacity of United.

Cause the audacity is really something 😂

There's only one club who is bringing up the numbers of being the best in England right now.

Liverpool: The King Of Comebacks.

Only one team in premier league history has shown as much consistency as this. A true showing of the say "As far as the final whistle hasn't been blown, the game is still on."
The match against Fulham today is just another one of the happenings on Anfield grass.
The first half was chaotic, we getting through the Fulham midfield easily but no shots aiming at the post.
Sadly we seem to like checking how good the surrounding people (linesmen, audiences and some camera) can catch the ball.
While Fulham we're very clinical in their shots. I'd have to say that I was madly impressed and in love with their ball.
A team that truly believes in quality over quantity, that's what Fulham showed.
And it was shown in their stats in first half, with only 4 shots in and 3 on goal.
Miles apart from our 8 shots and 1 on target.
What was even dismaying for me was the fact that one of Fulham's shot did find the net.
Keheller was surprised and the team spirit plummeted.
Wilson had danced past 4 men and blasted the shot past the keeper.

Twinkle toes had done it again.

The 1st half ended and I admit, I was disappointed. How can we hit 7 sits far and wide?

How big do you want the post to be?

What was even worse is the fact that this is our home field, meaning this is the post you train with.
I could see it in Klopp's eyes that he thought the same thing too.

2nd half begun and Fulham was overwhelmed.
Now I don't know what Klopp must have told the team but it was working.
The Removal of the young lads Elliott and Gravenberch for the regular Darwin and Cody was another great decision made by Klopp.
Darwin is a player that is always associated with a goal. After playing in Tandem with Salah and Firmino then Suarez in his National team, he has watched, talked and played with 3 of Liverpool's best goal scorers and right now he can smell a good goal in Anfield soil.
Curtis Jones, a midfielder who was everything in this match. Always looking for opportunities to get the shot in. I had my eyes on him fully and I knew he just needed the right pass.
Darwin served it up for him in a silver platter in the 68th minute and the magic began as we scored the tying goal.

With over 28 minutes to spare everybody knew it was another Anfield classic.
For the bookmakers now, it's thinking of when the 3rd goal would come.
Well the thought process didn't last long as Darwin spotted Cody with a pass and boom 2-1, in less than 5 minutes.

Liverpool fans were ecstatic. Fulham fans were desperate, winning out of the picture now, best to tie.
As always on Anfield, so suddenly the tables were turned. Liverpool immediately switched gears to defense mode letting the time go by.
Fulham couldn't get another shot in, as the ball was stopped at midfield and sent back to their own half.
It was wondrous to watch.
Quickly time reached the 90th minute and Fulham had accepted their fate, another early celebration turned to a late denial on Anfield.
Our Comeback Trio stood taking a picture together.

Currently 1st in the Premier League and hasn't lost a match in EFL cup with only one loss in the FA cup.
It's quite clear who's the best this year ❤️
Coupled by our staggeringly huge home record of only 1 loss since 2021.

Our goals scored both home and away, keeper, players and manager, all this on a strained budget. It really would be a no brainer to say who the best team in England is.

We play Fulham again in their house and I can already tell you the outcome 😀
