For someone like you that has a lukewarm appreciation for the sport I reckon you should just watch the fight after the fact. For non fans the 3+ hours that it takes to get to the main event can be a bit much to endure.

It depends on the hour of the fight which is normally like 4am in the morning here so most likely it will be not seeing the results and watching it after.
