RE: MMA fighters and other celebs continue to destroy boxing

and they will get the money. The hype is so much better than the actual fights though. I have tried to watch an entire Jake Paul match but I just couldn't get through them. There's no doubt that he has some skill but if he were to fight an actual boxer, say, someone in the top 50 that is in his own weight class, I think he would get absolutely destroyed. There's a reason why he doesn't do this.

I do love how boxing and UFC have adapted to be more like WWE with all of the drama/hype. It’s hilarious to watch fighters go back and forth. Some are way better at that part than others. McGregor so much so that he landed a role as the main villain in the new Roadhouse movie remake. Then I think of guys like The Rock, John Cena, and Bautista. They are some of my favorite action actors because they are really good at what they do, doesn't matter that they started in wrestling. Good is good.

I like Cena the most out of the ones that you mentioned. Unlike most of the big bois from the 80's and 90's I think that he has some decent acting chops on him as well. He had a supporting role in a military film called "The Wall" where it wasn't a comedy at all and it was a really good role for him. I'd like to see him tackle more serious roles in the future because I think he is much better than the Rock.

The hype/drama that you refer to these days seems to be more important than the actual capabilities of the fighters. This puts non English speakers at a huge disadvantage as far as moving up in the ranks and getting big fights is concerned though, and that isn't fair.

So do I. Peacemaker is a fantastic show. His latest movie Ricky Stanicky with Andrew Santino is downright hilarious too. He’s the funniest of those wrestlers for sure. Cena is well rounded. The Rock is, well, more rock-like and common with his roles.

You’re right. Those poor Brazilian dudes don’t stand a chance trying to throw shade at their opponent.
