RE: My brief time as a amateur MMA fighter

I can relate to your story. I also fought amateur Boxing, KickBboxing and Muay Thai in the late 90's and early 2000's.
You didn't mentioned it here, but I bet you experienced being kicked in the balls too. I got mine kicked a few times by a girl during a sparring match. 😂

Never tried an MMA fight since it is very new for us at that time and we lack necessary connections and trainers. I am actually thinking of fighting at least one amateur MMA before I get too old to fight. Though, the last time I visit the gym, this one guy who almost the same age as me, told me saying that we are already too old it. 😁

I have a lot of losses too, but I was never knocked out.

Well of course. This is never on purpose but it certainly puts a stop to the fight quick.

If you have managed to stay in shape in your 30's you better get on it soon because yes, very few have what it takes to continue into their 40's. They are too breakable :)

Where I live there is a group of people that only fight in a certain age range and honestly, everyone is so nice in that group because no one has any fighting career aspirations at that point. It's just a little difficult to participate because most people in their 40's have jobs that they probably can't just turn up all bashed up to - although it probably would make for a good coffee break chat.

Good job!
