The Bavarian Challenge .

Basically, unless we make defensive errors it’s next to impossible to score against us. Limiting their world-class attackers to 1 shot on target will pay off over 2 legs. We won’t gift them anything in Munich. All things being equal we should head to the semi finals.

An Arsenal Bayern match up is always one filled with much banter especially for the Arsenal team. Over the years Bayern Munich have always come out tops out of both teams anytime they meet. The last time the Bavarians came to the Emirates was during the round of 16 fixture in the 2016/2017 CL season . They whitewashed Arsenal back then 1-5 . The aggregate that year ended on a 10-2 score in favor of Bayern Munich.

This time around , it was a different ball game entirely. It’s a truly rejuvenated Gunners team now led by Mikel Arteta. Tuchel and his men sure knew they won't be having it easy at the Emirates this time around. Coming into the match I was confident Arsenal will come out with a favorable result at the end of the match . It started planning out the way I thought as Bukayo Saka out of nowhere finnesed the ball past Manuel Neur in the 12th minute .

It was all going smoothly as Ben White almost made it 2 but his shot at goal wasn't fierce enough to unease Neur. Before I could say Jack Robbinson Bayern Munich Equaliuzed. A carefully worked out goal by Sane , Goretzka and Gnabry(who scored) made it 1 all instantly. This goal however was as a result of an avoidable mistake by both David Raya and Gabriel. The visitors weren't done with their exploits as Leroy Sane drove past our midfield down to the defence line eventually gaining a penalty courtesy of a William Saliba foul on Sane in the box.

It is the 32nd minute and it's a penalty no doubt. Trust the regular culprit to always add salt to the Gunners injury everytime. Familiar foe Harry Kane stepped up and cooly slotted in the ball in the net sending David Raya the other way . Harry Kane won't stop scoring against Arsenal at any slightest opportunity he gets it seems . He does it effortlessly I must say . Half time and it's advantage Bayern Munich.

At this juncture I just wanted to see how Arsenal would react to this scoreline in the second half . It was indeed a test of their mentality . Most rival fans must have gotten their drafts of bants ready to shame Arsenal fans of claiming they have the best defence in the Premier League. Leo Trossard however had other ideas . Himself along Gabriel Jesus were second half subs . Funny how both of them combined to produce a finely fininshed goal from Trossard in the 76th minute. This made the scores 2-2 which eventually was the final score of the game .

Opportunities missed can be tough to swallow, but they also offer lessons in resilience and growth. As we face challenges, lets remember to approach them with a balanced mindset, learning from setbacks and striving for sustainable improvement. Munich awaits, a chance to rewrite history.
