So the 2021 lions squad has been announced.... Before the tour has even "kicked off", im predicting this starting 15 for the first test, against reigning world champions South Africa:
I think were in with a good shout at winning the series. Im predicting a 2-1 series victory for the Britiand Irish lions. I am even toying with a series white wash or 3-0, but id like to see how the squad gels and gets on against the province's in the waem up games first, before making that bold prediction.
I was very surprised to see James Ryan left out... he might get the nod yet due to an injury or the like...
There are definitely a few "ringers" in there. I can see 3 or 4 picking up injuries and being replaced.
Ya there looks to be a few alright. Really looking forward to the tests now..
I say no chance and see a 3-0 to the Boks on this tour even though it is a fairly easy tour as normal tours go. They will no doubt struggle with the change in altitude between the first and second test. I was very disappointed in the 6 Nations this year as the standards were just not there.
