6. David Villa

David Villa became one of the best MLS players of all time helping NYCFC become one of the top teams in the league. The aigning was a coup for the league, Villa only 32 years old at the time and could've still competed in Europe. Villa finished his MLS career with 77 goals from 117 appearances and won the 2016 MVP award along the way.

Wow, didn't realise Robbie would be so far up the list, but 83 in 125 is a great return for a non Messi or Ronaldo human! :)

Robbie was unreal and super underrated. I know he didn't have the glamour like some of the other marquee signings but he sure did have one of the best impacts on the pitch

Ya to be honest I wouldn't know as never watched a full MLS match, only ever watched highlights back in the day.

I really hope Zlatan and Vella are in the top 3 :D
Very cool article once again, I like when there is focus on the more "exotic" leagues

hi mate! Love the MLS. You may have to wait a few extra days. I accidentally posted about the best MLS players and not the rivalries. I'll be back so you can see where Zlatan and Vella land 😉

Thank you for sharing. :)

Oh Keane. One striker whose talent I believe didn't really live up to billing. I miss that his celebration style.

I really hope Sebastian Giovinco the Atomic Ant will be in the top 3!
