I have never been able to see a German car up close, but what a blessing not to have to deal with oil spills, I know it must be annoying to have to remove all those panels and heat shields to be able to work the vehicle from underneath, but it's nothing a good pneumatic gun won't help to do quickly.

I agree that nothing like having the help of the wind to cool the engine, now that I think about it in my youth I had a Ford Merkur made in Germany, I'm sure you know it, it had no front grill and the air did not pass to the radiator, a nightmare.
