For a mechanic enthusiast like me, finding the failure of a vehicle or how to repair some damage isn't easy, there are things that I already learned from experiences and others that I don't know at all, but when you have no choice but to try to solve a problem of your vehicle by yourself, you must exhaust all means.
Fallo del cuerpo del acelerador debido a una goma
Para un entusiasta de la mecánica como yo, encontrar la falla de un vehículo o como reparar algún daño no es fácil, hay cosas que ya aprendí por experiencias y otras que no conozco en lo absoluto, pero cuando no tienes mas alternativa que tratar de resolver un problema de tu vehiculo por ti mismo, debes agotar todos los medios.
This experience was a lesson for me, I like to believe that God put the right person in my path, because I could not take the car to the garage at this time. I consulted friends and several gave me their ideas and opinions, but nothing worked. The car had been turning off surprisingly for weeks, I thought it had to do with the gasoline again, but it wasn't like that.
Esta experiencia fue de aprendizaje para mi, me gusta creer que Dios puso en mi camino a la persona correcta, porque no podía llevar el carro al taller en este momento. Consulte conocidos y amistades y varios me dieron sus ideas y opiniones, pero nada que lograba solventar. El carro llevaba semanas apagándose sorpresivamente, yo creia que tenia que ver con la gasolina nuevamente, pero no fue así.
Suddenly the car turned off when it went to minimum engine rpm or idle, before something similar happened to me and it was an air intake through the hose that connects the PCV valve to the throttle body, but after reviewing all connections and hose still find the reason of the failure.
De repente el carro se apagaba cuando se iba a mínimo de revoluciones del motor o ralentí, antes me paso algo similar y fue una entrada de aire por la manguera que conecta la válvula PCV al cuerpo de aceleracion, pero luego de revisar todas las conexiones y manguera aun no daba con el porque de la falla.
Driving like this was quite a challenge, to brake I put the car in neutral so it would not turn off, which until that moment I didn't know it was a symptom of the problem, it wasn't until the brake pedal got hard that I knew what was happening. When I lifted the hood of the car I heard a loud air sound, as I followed the sound I discovered it was coming from the hydrovac.
Manejar asi fue toda una proeza, para frenar colocaba el carro en neutro para que no se apagara, lo que hasta ese momento no sabía que era un síntoma del problema, no fue hasta que el pedal del freno se puso duro que supe lo que pasaba. Al levantar el capo del carro escuche un fuerte sonido de aire, al seguir el sonido descubrí que venía del hidrovac.
The rubber that serves as a seal for the hose that connects the hydrovac with the throttle body had broken, I have no idea how a rubber can be damaged in that way, look at the photo the size of the break, in that place there is no movement of any part that can damage it like that.
La goma que sirve de sello para la manguera que conecta el hidrovac con el cuerpo de aceleracion se había roto, no tengo la mas minima idea de como una goma puede dañarse de esa manera, fijense en la foto el tamaño de la ruptura, en ese lugar no hay movimiento de pieza alguna que la pueda dañar así.
I knew then that I had a vacuum leak, I bought the rubber and right there in front of the spare parts store I put it easily, I turn on the car but it turns off almost immediately. A man who works in the place tells me that I must reset the computer of the vehicle because the throttle body butterfly was left open, my mind thought that I should use a scanner to do it.
Supe entonces que tenía una fuga de vacío, compre la goma y ahí mismo frente a la venta de repuestos la coloque fácilmente, enciendo el carro pero se apaga casi que inmediatamente. Un señor que trabaja en el lugar me dice que debo reiniciar el computador del vehículo porque la mariposa del cuerpo de aceleracion quedó abierta, mi mente penso que debia usar algun scanner para hacerlo.
The gentleman kindly helped me, removed the negative cable from the battery with the ignition key passed, then did the same with the positive cable, I turned on again and the car didn't turn off, it stopped failing and the engine was very serene, even with more power.
El señor amablemente me ayudó, quito el cable negativo de la batería con la llave de encendido pasada, luego hizo lo mismo con el cable positivo, le di para encender y no se apago el carro, quedo sin falla y muy sereno el motor hasta con mas potencia.

Si me volvió la felicidad porque cuando puse la goma y se volvió apagar el carro me quedé pensando y ¿Ahora que?
Que bueno que pudiste dar con la falla pero sobre todo que encontraste a alguien para ayudar.
A mi me paso eso hace tiempo pero si era la pvc que estaba echando broma.
Bueno más que encontrar, estaba en el lugar cuando lo necesitaba jeje
La misma presión que hace la manguera con el tiempo al vencerse las propiedades de la goma la fatigan fíjate que tenía días rompiéndose poco a poco hasta que dijo como el meme "ya no aguanto más"
Una cosa que puede joderte el dia! pero con una ayuda asi super facil de arreglar!
