Como Cuidar y Prolongar la Vida útil al Motor del Carro
Saludos cordiales a la gran comunidad de Hive, en esta oportunidad les quiero hablar tres (03) factores que son vitales y de gran importancia para lograr que el motor de nuestros carros se mantenga cuidado y de esa manera estaremos prolongando la vida útil del mismo.
El cuidado y conservación de los motores depende de muchos elementos; y a la vez intervienen ciertos parámetros para que esto se cumpla de una manera mejor, pero como ya lo indique anteriormente, hare énfasis en tres factores, los cuales son:
- La temperatura,
- El kit de tiempo o de distribución
- La lubricación
• La Temperatura:
Algo que no se puede subestimar ni descuidar es la temperatura, y es que en países donde el clima es cálido como lo es en Venezuela, el no monitorear constantemente este factor podría conllevar a un recalentamiento del motor dejando como consecuencia un mayor consumo de aceite o se puede mezclar el agua o refrigerante con el aceite, y en el peor de los casos el cigüeñal pierde lubricación lo que podría causar un desbielamiento.
Para lograr que la temperatura se mantenga en sus niveles estables debemos de monitorear y chequear de manera constante el sistema de refrigeración, para esto tenemos que examinar el nivel de refrigerante o agua en el reservorio o envase, este incluye dos palabras como lo son “mínimo” y “máximo” que nos sirven de guía para lograr el nivel necesario, también debemos observar que los ventiladores del motor funcionen bien, al igual que se tiene que revisar que las mangueras estén en optimas condiciones sin ninguna ruptura, el reservorio al igual que la tapa que este lleva deben de estar en buenas condiciones, sin fisuras ni estar rotos.
• El kit de Tiempo o de Distribución:
Este es el mecanismo compuesto por correa o cadena, pero, tensor y poleas que sincroniza el tiempo de apertura y cierre de válvulas en el motor. Este tiene que estar optimo para de esa manera coordinar de forma exacta los 4 tiempos que tiene el motor como lo son: la admisión, explosión, comprensión y escape.
Expertos en mecánica recomiendan revisar y chequear este kit de tiempo entre los 60000 y los 120000 kilómetros recorridos, esto se debe tomar muy en cuenta ya que la fractura de la correa de distribución puede traer como consecuencias daños elevados al motor y en muchos casos son irreversibles.
• La Lubricación:
La lubricación del motor es muy importante, ya que con esta se garantiza y se protege los motores evitando la fricción y acumulación de residuos, una óptima lubricación conlleva a un óptimo rendimiento del motor.
Sin la lubricación un motor solo duraría minutos ya que tendría fricción, recaliento, desgastes y se fundirían sus partes internas.
Una buena lubricación se logra teniendo una bomba de aceite en buenas condiciones, temperatura del motor en niveles normales y cambiando el aceite del motor periódicamente.
El cambiar el aceite periódicamente nos ayuda a mantener el motor limpio y evitamos la corrosión, lo que permite que los componentes internos del motor no sufran desgastes y nos garantiza una larga vida al motor.

Warm greetings to the great community of Hive, this time I want to talk about three (03) factors that are vital and of great importance to ensure that the engine of our cars is maintained and thus we will be prolonging the life of the same.
The care and conservation of the engines depends on many elements; and at the same time certain parameters are involved for this to be fulfilled in a better way, but as I indicated above, I will emphasize three factors, which are:
- Temperature,

- Lubrication
- Temperature:
Something that can not be underestimated or neglected is the temperature, and is that in countries where the climate is hot as it is in Venezuela, not constantly monitor this factor could lead to overheating of the engine leaving as a result a higher oil consumption or water or coolant can be mixed with the oil, and in the worst case the crankshaft loses lubrication which could cause a desbielamiento.
To ensure that the temperature is maintained at stable levels we must constantly monitor and check the cooling system, for this we have to examine the level of coolant or water in the reservoir or container, this includes two words such as "minimum" and "maximum" that serve as a guide to achieve the necessary level, we must also observe that the engine fans are working well, just as you have to check that the hoses are in good condition without any breakage, the reservoir as well as the lid that it carries must be in good condition, without cracks or be broken.
- The timing or distribution kit:
This is the mechanism composed by belt or chain, but, tensioner and pulleys that synchronizes the time of opening and closing of valves in the engine. This has to be optimal in order to coordinate in an exact way the 4 strokes of the engine such as: admission, explosion, compression and exhaust.
Experts in mechanics recommend to review and check this timing kit between 60000 and 120000 kilometers traveled, this should be taken into account because the fracture of the timing belt can bring as consequences high damages to the engine and in many cases are irreversible.
- Lubrication:
Engine lubrication is very important, as it ensures and protects the engines by preventing friction and debris accumulation, optimal lubrication leads to optimal engine performance.
Without lubrication, an engine would only last for minutes as it would have friction, overheating, wear and tear and its internal parts would melt.
Good lubrication is achieved by having an oil pump in good condition, engine temperature at normal levels and changing the engine oil periodically.
Changing the oil periodically helps us to keep the engine clean and prevents corrosion, which allows the internal components of the engine not to suffer wear and tear and guarantees a long engine life.
