Hoy le quiero seguir enseñando gran parte de mi trabajo este ford año 98 le vamos a reparar la transmisión ya que tiene un sonido muy inusual y el dueño ya no lo soporta lo trajo al taller para que lo corrieramos y vieramos que podiamos hacer. Gracias a Dios lo desarmamos a tiempo porque tenía mucho juego en el piñon de ataque y una rolinera de la corona estab totalmente dañada también nos dimos cuenta que había mucho juego entre satélites y planetarios, mandamos a comprar un kit de lainas de ajuste.

We also realized that there was a lot of play between the satellites and planetary gears, we ordered to buy an adjustment shim kit.
Ya con la transmisión desarmada comenzamos a sacar los tornillos de las coronas para poder sacar el pasador y poder ajustar satélite y planetarios, esas lainas que vemos en la foto son para ajustar la rolinera que van en ambos extremos

Acá me pongo a ajustar satélite y planetario como puede observar es una arandela nueva y la que ven en la mesa ya esta muy desgastada al meter la velocidad y sacar el croche sino le montamos esta arandela de ajuste quedara golpeando la transmisión. Le montamos las dos arandelas que trae el kit y aún sigue con juego como tenemos las dos que estan un poco desgastada le coloco a los planetatios dos en ambos lados y queda bien ajustado. A los satélites no le pongo ajuste porque estan bien, coloco el pasador, le coloco la cuña del pasador y monto la rueda de corona en su lugar. Ya ajustada solo me queda piñon y corona.

I do not adjust the satellites because they are fine, I put the pin, I put the pin wedge and I mount the crown wheel in its place. Already adjusted I only have pinion and crown.
Con el piñon ajustado le coloco las lainas de ajuste del extremo más corto para que no me quede con juego la transmisión, sigo jugando con ella porque esto es de exactitud, porqué son engranajes que tienen que ir de una manera acorde en el ajuste, aprieto las bancadas, limpio totalmente la tapa de registro para agregarle pegamento de un lado y pegar la empacadura en el entorno del tunel y la tapa no le echo silicon particularmente porque de quedar con sonido no dañar la empacadura, le monto la punta de eje de ambos lados luego le agregamos tres potes de aceites 140 de transmisión y salimos a probar el vehículo.
With the pinion adjusted, I place the adjustment shims on the shorter end so that the transmission does not get left with play, I continue playing with it because this is exact, because they are gears that have to go in a consistent way in the adjustment, I tighten the benches, I completely clean the manhole cover to add glue on one side and glue the gasket around the tunnel and I don't put silicone on the cover particularly because if it's left with sound it won't damage the gasket, I mount the shaft end of both sides then we added three pots of 140 transmission oils and went out to test the vehicle.
Tengo que admitir que el tamaño de la pieza es mucho mayor a lo que pensaba, pero cuando lei tres potes de aceite eso se cimento en mi mente, jamas pense que fuera tanto, tremenda publicacion, me agrado mucho la calidad que nos trajiste, deberias mantenerla en lo posible :)
