MANTENIMIENTO AL SISTEMA DE CARBURACIÓN DE LA MOTO
Saludos amigos de Hive Motors, tengo como convicción que la mejor manera de mantener operativo y en buen estado nuestros vehículos sea este carro o moto es a través del mantenimiento preventivo. Este nos permite planificar la adquisición de repuestos, la gestión de mano de obra y lo más importante evitar cualquier accidente o incidente en la vía. El fin de semana hice mi visita quincenal a mi granja ubicada a 147 kilómetros es decir casi 300 kilómetros de recorrido, el viaje lo realicé en la moto y note una falla en la aceleración esto hizo activarme ayer para hacer mantenimiento a sus carburadores y bujías.

This allows us to plan the acquisition of spare parts, labor management and most importantly avoid any accident or incident on the road. This weekend I made my biweekly visit to my farm located 147 kilometers away, that is almost 300 kilometers of travel, I made the trip on the motorcycle and noticed a failure in the acceleration, this made me activate yesterday to do maintenance to its carburetors and spark plugs.
En Venezuela tenemos, como en otras oportunidades he dicho, problemas de abastecimiento de gasolina pero además de que está disponible solo un tipo de gasolina, del cual desconocemos el octanaje, no hay mantenimiento de los tanques y filtros de las estaciones de servicio por lo que es común un combustible con muchas impurezas. En mi caso particular el carro para encender en la mañana presenta problemas, imagino que a más de uno le sucede lo mismo. Las motos presentan también este tipo de problema. Yo no limpiaba los carburadores de la moto desde diciembre, hace seis meses por lo que procedí a hacerlos.

La moto tiene dos carburadores uno para cada cilindro, para desarmarlos realicé los siguientes paso 1: 1.1 vaciado del tanque de gasolina, retirar la tuerca que lo sujeta y levantarlo para que queden visibles los carburadores. 1.2 desmotado de llave de la gasolina, para esto se desconectan las dos mangueras principal y reserva que vienen del tanque. De esta manera quedan visibles los dos carburadores.

Once the two carburetors were visible I carried out Step 2: 2.1 disassemble the carburetor covers, these are fastened by four screws each one. 2.2 removal of pins that hold the floats, when removing the floats we extract the carburetor needles that open and close the passage of the gasoline to the carburetor tank. 2.3 disassembly of the high and low springs. 2.4 general cleaning to components and parts of the carburetor. Step 3 carburetor assembly, this did not require much effort, but it is always good to be attentive to assemble everything as it was.
Aunque esta parte del carburador está conformada por dos diafragmas, normalmente se les llama pulmones y trabajan con la presión que genera la succión del motor y las entradas de aire, las desmonté y las limpie porque cundo se pegan la moto no enciende, en una oportunidad esa falla me hizo parar la moto hasta que la detecté y corregí.

Importante que tomemos las previsiones para evitar fallar por carburación o por inyección de combustible, si nuestro vehículo es de inyección hacer limpieza y calibración de los inyectores y cambio de filtro de la gasolina periódicamente, cada cierto tiempo es también bueno limpiar el tanque de la gasolina, para esto necesitamos de un buen mecánico y de confianza. En el caso de la moto y dependiendo la complejidad tecnológica podemos nosotros hacer algunos mantenimientos menores como en mi caso.
