Un sábado en la mañana mientras caminaba a casa me consigo estacionado casi en la esquina de la calle Camacua y Avenida Rivadavia este hermoso auto. Estaba rodeado de personas que no paraban de tomarle fotos y de contemplar su belleza.
One Saturday morning while I was walking home I found this beautiful car parked almost on the corner of Camacua Street and Rivadavia Avenue. He was surrounded by people who couldn't stop taking photos of him and contemplating his beauty.
Por suerte el dueño no tenía ningún problema en que la gente le tomara fotos y le hiciera preguntas respecto al auto. Me comentó que lo tenía hace 25 años y que antes era de su padre, que al fallecer se lo deja. Pero antes tuvo que restaurarlo ya que estuvo 10 años guardado en una fría cochera subterránea.
Luckily the owner had no problem with people taking photos and asking him questions about the car. He told me that he had it 25 years ago and that it previously belonged to his father, who left it to him when he died. But first he had to restore it since it was stored for 10 years in a cold underground garage.
El auto tiene un andar hermoso a pesar de tener 89 años. Lo usa casi todos los fines de semana y lo ha llevado a varios eventos y exposiciones de autos en la ciudad y en la provincia de Buenos Aires. También manifestó que tiene el motor y caja originales y que fueron reparados por primera vez en el año 1984, ¡hace 39 años!.
The car runs beautifully despite being 89 years old. He uses it almost every weekend and has taken it to various events and car shows in the city and in the province of Buenos Aires.
