UPDATE - Increasing Voting Percentage Per Comment

Just thought we'd drop by with a quick update for the engage1up project and our first few days in the comment curation game :)

First up, we've been upvoting a BUNCH of your awesome comments!

What we've noticed is that the gaming and NFT comments are much more in depth than other niches we've followed in the blockchain space. There is a real passion here without any drama, arguments or fights (crossing fingers...so far lol)

But honestly, it just feels good reading everyone's comments about what they truly do have a massive passion for. So keep the comments coming, we'll make sure we get to your engagement :)

That being said...We wanted to test out the percentage of votes we were giving people and stay around 80-85% of our voting power.

We have been upvoting comments at 5%, which is around 14-16 ONEUP

And we've been upvoting a LOT....Hundreds of comments so far but we still seem to be hanging around 90% voting power. It was even around 95% yesterday with @jongolson spending a good chunk of his day upvoting comments LOL

So we'll bump up the comment votes to 10% for the next few days, and then see how we're doing with our voting power.

The goal again of engage1up is to spread the rewards out to this community. And we want to do that through your engagement and your comments!

We'll do little updates like this every few days or so, just to keep you up to date with how our management of the ONEUP delegation is progressing.

So like we said in our intro post....

If you want more ONEUP, get out there and keep commenting :)

Awesome my primary focus in posts was NFTs, Blockchain-games, & legitimate post interaction. Happy accident 1up will be my new favorite haunt & this was already my primary focus

Awesome to hear it :) We hope we can help along the journey!

I love it! It is quite fun to see someone upvoting the comments on my posts and my comments on other posts as well 😀

Yeah we wanna make sure people feel welcomed and encouraged here for sure!

It's great to know someone reads our comments as well. I have decided to give 1UP another try today in a smaller article than the last time. I like the logo! It's fun!

Absolutely!

So important we feel for a supportive and active community!

Man - this project just has me soooo excited. Keep I up @engage1up :)

Thanks for your active management of this, paying attention to the vote recharge rate and such - makes a ton of sense.

Thanks for the update and your service to the 1up community :)

Appreciate the kind words :)

Yeah we feel it just makes sense to keep on top of the distribution and get it out to as many people as we can :)

This is so beautiful! Exactly what communities need... more engagement of the readers. Nice that 1UP is making this happening.

Yeah we thought it would be a great feature for the community. Anything to help increase engagement :)

I feel like I'm a little late to the blockchain gaming and NFTs, but I won't miss the chance to be part of the early days of #oneup

Being part of it with blog post is a thing, and engaging seems more fun and lively as long as we keep the conversation clean.

I've got a little question, can I talk/post about Non-blockchain games like Ligue of Legends?

Love the engage1up initiative! Will there be a kind of ranking of who comments most ?

Yeah Blain built a little tool for us to see the stats every day and then weekly. Trying to figure out the best way to reward the top commentors. Figuring a healthy upvote each. But open for suggestions!
