Hi there! Wow, my first post! It's about time!
I am BreakMan, the founder of the ConsumerBreak mobile game and co-founder of NFTOPIA Metaverse Convention.
I was actually introduced to Hive back in Spring 2022, where we did a "collab puzzle game" on the ConsumerBreak app. It was super fun! Thanks to @guiltyparties for helping me set things up!
But then I got strung out in different directions and didn't start posting here. 🙃 I had just started a WAX NFT collection at that time and collaborating with other WAX projects and streaming on Twitch, and put all of my focus on these WAX collabs. The weekly stream & puzzles grew to regular AMA interviews and starting the quarterly NFTOPIA Convention with @waffleskitty following the heartwarming final @dygycon 12. We will start posting at @thenftopia soon too!
I hope to continue posting updates about the awesome collabs we have on ConsumerBreak and in the NFTOPIA metaverse and Twitch! More about myself and my projects below, but first...

NFT COLLECTION
I started the ConsumerBreak WAX NFT collection (cbreakgaming) as a way to offer rewards on the puzzles before we had collab games. This grew into a fun trading card collection with packs, blends and staking farms - featuring seasonal creatures that you can collect and blend to the Mythic Hybrid Creatures. I work with an artist to make the creatures and I do all the card, lore and badge art. We have since minted over 90,000 NFTs with tons of packs given away regularly on live streams and in Discord!
StudentBreak and BibleBreak
I also have two other apps similar to ConsumerBreak which are still in development. These are geared toward kids and feature custom educational puzzles including numerous difficulty levels and a BibleBreak book on Amazon. Please give me a shout if you have kids that enjoy the puzzles, and tell me what specific content you would like for them to memorize while playing!
MORE ABOUT ME
I'm actually not a developer, and it has been very hard to create and maintain an app as I've had to navigate hiring various companies over years and do all design and testing myself. I am completely independent and still work part-time as a CAD Drafter to make a living.
I live and grew up in Wild, Wonderful West Virginia and have a passion for creative works and Web3. I love the communities I've befriended in WAX through the stream interviews and metaverse conventions, and hope to continue making cool stuff and have more people join me along on the journey.
My story goes back 12 years in trying to create an app, filled with tragedy spanning from 6 figures in development loss to cancer overtaking my parents. But despite this I've continued to strive my best to build a dream without knowing what each next year brings. I'm excited to see what happens in 2024, and appreciate you reading my first post on Hive!
