Awesome post, I find axie is gonna fail as the entry point is horrendous. Splinterlands is $10 to play sure now you need to rent to get higher rewards but for $10 you can grind like crazy to get higher.

Splinterlands has a low entry, which of course deceives our human mind to it being the "cheaper one", but I REALLY appreciate the fact that they give everyone a fair playing chance. Axie has been termed a Ponzi scheme and I wonder if it's gonna hold up when the new players stop trooping in?
Yeah axie seems very off to me, a game should not need a scholarship to play haha
