I think some people do genuinely love us, but can end up bullying us as a result of their own unresolved trauma. But other times, yeah, there are extremely sneaky people out there who'll say they want what's best then seek to control us (also often banking on our own hurts and insecurities). It's important to know how to protect yourself from such people. Great post!
