RE: I think people need a partner

It's very reassuring to read through your words. At times I am quite overwhelmed, by how much people seem to push away all that: monogamy, honest connections... or as you said it becomes that rigid pride of "not needing anyone". When it is actually such a beautiful thing to rely on someone or be relied on. (If of course it happens in a healthy relationship)

Also I feel like with all the career-ambitions we tend to loose track of the "basic" things that really fulfil us. Which in my eyes comes back to honest and loving connections, health, sharing happiness or building a home and family around us. So maybe (or surely) you don't need to be in a relationship all the time or since the beginning but down the line it will be something you miss if you never have it or aspire to create it within your life.

I think so too.

Exactly. It can be a balance of being on your own and finding yourself...to be with others, not to be afraid of others. <3
