Hello dear friends of hive, I hope you are having an incredible weekend and an incredible Sunday surrounded by your loved ones. This time I will tell you a little about my experience traveling to Ciudad Ojeda - Zulia State, Venezuela, to meet my friend from the university after 3 years.

This weekend was loaded with many emotions as I was reunited with a person very dear to me. Exactly 6 years ago, I met a classmate, at that time we were starting our journalism degree, I remember that several of our classmates sat down and she arrived and we spoke only three or four words, that day we shared the number and we began to talk.

We never thought that some time later we would become very close friends, and a very important fact is that we were both foreigners, she is from the eastern coast of the state of Zulia and I from the west of the state hahaha we were from end to end.

We were almost inseparable, despite the fact that I paid for a residence in Maracaibo, I spent almost the entire week at his residence, we bought a bottle of alcohol and sang Franco de Vita's songs at the top of our lungs, especially ¡SI LA VES! , we would fall asleep and be late for the first class was almost always hahaha.

One day we talked about the fact that when we finished the race we were not going to see each other again or perhaps it would take a long time for that to happen, we always came to the conclusion that that was still missing.

What we did not imagine was that a pandemic would make what we were so nostalgic for arrive so soon. We stopped seeing each other in 2020 and although we never lost communication, it was not the same.

You may wonder, but if everything was normalizing in 2021 why didn't they see each other sooner, as I told you we were from end to end, that generated heavy spending in poor pockets hahaha.

We planned many times for me to travel, and I almost never went because, as I told you, that generated a large expense, but this weekend finally! We were able to see each other again, you can't imagine the happiness we both had to see each other again, to sing those songs by Franco de Vita that we love so much.

The trip was a bit stressful, since I live in Rosario de Perijá, two hours from the city of Maracaibo, I took the first bus and traveling by bus, although I am used to it, is always stressful. I had thought that when I got to the city I would go to see other friends who, like Carmen, had not seen for a long time, but it was not possible.

I left my town at 10:30 in the morning and arrived in Maracaibo at 12:00 noon, I took a bus and went to the medical school because I had to do some things there, then I took another scandalous and stressful bus and I returned to the center, to the bus stop that would take me to Ojeda, in that bustle I left Maracaibo for Ojeda city at 1:30 in the afternoon.

I had already gone to Ojeda a couple of years ago with her and another friend, this time I would travel alone and one of the things that I enjoy but at the same time makes me nervous is to cross the bridge over the great lake of Maracaibo, an impressive landscape and that it scares you when you go halfway but then it goes away.

To get to Ojeda, you have to go through two more towns, like Santa Rita and Cabimas, the latter too hot, I was going all the way excited, I got to Ojeda at 3:30 my friend picked me up with her mom who is a love and I love her very much, when we saw each other our emotion was very great, it was pure happiness.

We got to her house, on Friday we didn't do much, we just went to pharmatodo and bought some sweets and ice cream.
The good thing happened yesterday Saturday, when we went out to a small nightclub that is located in the city, at first they wouldn't let us in and we had a dispute but then we solved it and we were able to dance all night with their friends, until dawn and Today I had to return to my town, but I'm still excited about how beautiful and beautiful the reunion was.

I missed something, I went with her to a bazaar of small businesses and we bought some things, like a cactus, rings and a bracelet that we gave ourselves. Then her mother gave me a little tour of all of Ojeda and we sat in a super cute square.

One of the things that I have always thanked God is for putting wonderful people in my path, I have been lucky and blessed to have great friendships that inspire you, support you and help you grow. That is the type of people that we should make part of our lives, those who transmit good energy and good vibes to you.

And obviously we went back to singing our Franco de Vita song at the top of our lungs…TELL HIM THAT I'M ALREADY VERY WELL, THAT I HAVE NEVER BEEN BETTER, IF YOU THINK THAT MAYBE I'M DYING BECAUSE YOU'RE NO LONGER, THAT'S GOING!

This means that I chose the seat very well on the first day of university 😍😉
