I don’t know how she did it, but she was always curious about everyone and everything. She snooped around on everyone trying to find either their latest good news, boyfriend, or the latest gift anyone brought to the hostel. In fact, she knew the richest people in the hostel because she was always snooping around their lockers, comparing items to see who got the fattest, and the latest provisions in their locker.
Before fight erupted among girls dating the same guy, she already heard the news of how, where, and when it would happen. Was she gifted or was she just having fun? I don’t know the answer, but her curiosity had never helped anyone but herself. The signs of relief and happiness that she bears on her face showed how happy she was getting those news firsthand.
One day at the hostel, Tee went to the backyard to pee, and saw senior Stella, one of the most beautiful, yet reserved seniors washing her underwear. She snooped from behind her and asked, “Senior Stella, are you on your period”, which she got a No for an answer. Maybe, she then thought of the colour of the water which was red in colour. If she wasn’t on her period, then, something must have happened, she thought. She then decided to dig further on Senior Stella and reveal whatever she was hiding.
She got close to this senior, just so that she could lay hands on the latest information she needed. She was curious about a lot of things, starting from who senior stella was dating. It was getting intrusive because she would even ask her foolish questions just so she could please herself.
She would get Senior Stella food, fetch her water, and watch every of her moves.
One day, while they were together, she saw a book, more like a diary, and opened it to read, but Stella wouldn’t let her. She hijacked it immediately and hid it so she wouldn’t see the content.
Tee’s curiosity wouldn’t let her take her mind off the diary, so she went behind Stella’s back to search her bags, got hold of the diary, and started reading.
She read back to the date she saw Stella washing her underwear at the backyard, and found out what happened. It was Stella’s first time at her boyfriend’s, and they had fun, hence, the bloodstain.
She exclaimed as if she hit a jackpot. She rushed out to inform her mates, who then informed many other people.
In no time, the news spread quickly that “Stella had lost herself to a man that wasn’t her husband at a very young age in senior high school 2”.
When Stella found out what happened to her, she first of, logged off school. She had to travel home for a long time because she was ashamed that her secret was exposed, no thanks to the harmfully curious Tee.
What was scary the most at the time though was the fear of Stella committing suicide because the news didn’t spread only among the girls, and it lasted a while. Thanks, to her supportive friends and classmates who visited her at home and convinced her to return to school soon.
Tee’s intrusive curiosity could’ve made her murderer, but even though Stella didn’t try to commit suicide, the effect it had on her wasn’t forgotten until she graduated, and probably till now.

There was a girl who was known for having the latest gist in the hostel. Her name was Tee. Everyone knew that if there was news or a new circulating rumour, trust Tee to know how, why, when, and where it started.
