Pan Fried Potatoes with Paprika and Sour Cream Dip ~ Qurator's Hive Top Chef! | Paprika!

in Qurator3 years ago (edited)

Hello Hiveans and @qurator's team! Paprika is the key ingredient for this week's Top Chef contest. Paprika is a spice made from dried and ground red peppers and the word derives from the Hungarian word, paprika. Paprika is used to season and color rices, stews, and soups, but the flavor is more effectively brought out by heating it in oil.

I cannot think of anything else easier and faster to use Paprika in cooking, except to do this Pan Fried Potatoes, one of a favorite dish at home. So, let's start cooking this simple dish and I hope you will like it. You don't even need to peel the potatoes, easy right!

METHODS

  1. Slice each potato in half length-ways, then slice each half in half again to make wedges. I liked it thin, so I sliced them to thin wedges.

'2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add potatoes and saute until beginning to brown.

'3. Reduce heat to medium. Add onion; sauté until onion is just tender.
