Have you ever thought about how important this lane is?
As I was going to the market to buy some stuff and groceries, I noticed this pedestrian lane and took a photo of it. This was newly put in, maybe two months ago if I am not mistaken. Our market was located in the upland barangay, 3 kilometers away from our home and 13 kilometers away from the municipality. This lane helps a lot to motorist and passers to be careful, watchful and knowledgeable enough to road signages and their meanings.

Pedestrian lanes are very important to everybody, especially when crossing the streets. Without these, accidents happen from time to time. Pedestrian lanes are very crucial for safety by providing a visible space for people to walk and reducing the risk of accidents between pedestrians and vehicles. By following these simple guidelines and being responsible enough for pedestrians, we make our communities safer. We can see these on streets, especially on streets that many people cross. But sometimes others are not responsible enough to use these lanes, especially in city areas. They cross the streets without pedestrian lanes as long as there's a vacant space or no vehicles. That's how important pedestrian lanes are. They are the guiding lines for us. So let's be responsible enough when we see these guiding lines – PEDESTRIAN LANE.

This is my entry on weekly @qurator photo quest about guiding lines.
