Today,16th of May year 2020, the day Philippines government have finally surrender it's two months long battle with Covid-19. Easing and lifting lockdown from ECQ to MECQ and GCQ all over the country is a clear indication of submission to unseen enemy. This is due to lack of funding to support it's citizens basic needs.

The all Metro Manila area have been place under MECQ also known as the Modified Enhance Community Quarantine from ECQ also known as the Enhance Community Quarantine. This is to give way the reopening of several business with 50% of it's employee on the ground. Malls, public market, food business, home service business, vanity store and other non-essential businesses are now open.

While most provincial area has been placed under GCQ, also known as the General Community Quarantine from ECQ. Life in those area that is under general community quarantine (gcq) is back to normal all business are reopen, public transport is available with a few restrictions, observed social distancing and wearing masks.

People rejoice, the street become crowded, vehicle's of all sized have filled the high street and high way of Metro Manila. The infamous gridlock traffic of EDSA, South Luzon Express Way, Star Toll Way and North Luzon Express Way are now turning back into life. This is perhaps the people move from place to place.

Survival of the fittest
Two months ago, the whole Metro Manila has been place under Enhance Community Quarantine or ECQ when the country reach a total number of cases to 187. And a few days later the whole Luzon wide has been in lockdown follow by the whole country a few more days. Things become more serious now, frustrations, worries are all over the place. Mainstream media talk about deaths and seriousness of the problem, medical workers is dying, people scared and panic buying begins.

Shelf in Supermarkets are now empty, companies have start to shutdown, people lost jobs and middle class turning poor. Then a few more days later, mainstream media broadcasters are now broadcasting from home. This spice the whole community into new level of worries and frustration. The government started to distribute relief goods and money subsidy, economy dropped like stone.

Until today at the time of writing, lifting of two months long lockdown, the flattening of the curved never achieve. In fact there are total of 12,000 plus active infection and counting. But due to economic problem and people struggle financially, the government have finally lift from total lockdown into MECQ and GCQ.

This means all the business establishment has been reopen and people have finally free to go outside the house but strictly observed a social distancing. However, even in day one of total lockdown, people don't observed social distancing especially in the crowded place.

The first day of business reopening resulted to high foot traffic inside malls, huge volume of vehicle in high streets and a crowd of people all over the place. It's like things seems back into normal now and the most visit on the first day are liquor store 😂.

But what saddened me for awhile is the fact the the plandemic is not over yet. The Covid-19 virus is still out there somewhere patiently waiting for it's new victim. And with crowd of people that shows support to the virus is high than expected, then a second wave of infection is imminent.

And with the current situation of Philippines medical system and facilities, it will surely don't accommodate the second wave of infection. Expect more deaths to come and the Darwinian law of selection "Survival of the Fittest" will applied.
