Whats the mission of the "Lightpainters United" Community?
The possibilities of HIVE have not yet reached many. Many artists in particular know nothing about it and mostly react like "Wow! Do we really need another Socialmedia platform to feed?", or they give it a try, but it is simply too complicated for them. Most find it hard to get started and many don't see the benefit of sticking with it. That's why we've made it our mission to educate and help onboard especially lightpainting artists. There are only a few active Lightpainters worldwide at HIVE. We want to change this. We want to reach out to all lightpainters All around the world!
This art is very visible and can easily inspire some photographers to try out these techniques. There are now a lot of photographers here on HIVE and accordingly we have made it our task to introduce our small light painting community into the new social media world. With "Lightpainters United" we not only want to show our art to the HIVE world, but also to help other Lightpainting artists to get started with HIVE.
To create a little extra motivation and further support we have come up with our own refferal program. Every Lightpainter who actively posts in our community and onboards a new Lightpainter gets 500 HP delegated for 3 Month. The new Lightpainter will get the full support on our Discord server and extra 1000HP for 3 months to light up quickly on HIVE.
As part of our onboarding program, we showcase the freshest arrivals to HIVE and who onboarded them. Follow them and you will be surprised what a lightartist can do with a camera in the dark.

Hello Everyone! My name is Dennis or also known as Ryu's Lightworks in the Lightpainting community. I am an autodidactic lightpainting artists from Germany practicing this for about 10 years now. This wonderful form of art is a fusion of reality with fantasy using camera tricks and light. For me it is a way to bring to life the worlds I imagine and expressing my creativity by creating digital art in an analogue way.

Hi fellow creators, my name is Paul Spencer and I have been enjoying Light Painting Photography since 2011. I post my images under the name LACElight photos the LACE stands for Light Art Colour Experiments. I started out on my own but was joined after a year or so by my mate Matt, he has not been so active over the last 2 years and so I have discussed with Matt and decided to join Ecency and post to the Hive on my own.
