This photo is my entry in the Qurator’s Photo Quest of this week, the topic is SIMPLICITY. The rules of the contest can be read here.
According to the English dictionary, the term of simplicity is defined as:
the quality of being natural and plain
an aspect of something that is easy, natural or plain
I tried to capture these qualities in the image that I show.
The photo corresponds to a detail of a commercial building against the blue sky. I took this photo many years ago at the city of São Carlos (SP), Brazil.
The camera that used was a Olympus C4040Z and the image was processed with a Gimp.
Con esta foto estoy participando en el concurso fotográfico de esta semana organizado por @qurator, cuyo tema es Simplicity. Los reglas del concurso se encuentran en este enlace. El vocablo inglés "simplicity" tiene diferentes traducciones en castellano, la que estoy usando aquí es el de simplicidad o simpleza. De acuerdo con el diccionario de la RAE, simplicidad se describe como: Cualidad de simple (‖ constituido por un solo elemento). Con esta imagen trato de capturar la esencia de este término. La foto corresponde a un detalle de una edificación comercial en la ciudad de São Carlos (SP), Brasil. La cámara que utilicé fue una Olympus C4040Z.
