I've always enjoyed macro photography with Sigma 105mm macro lens , but always had the need to see more details more closer , for a while i used the Rokkor 28mm reversed :
But when i got used to that i decided this year to get even closer to things up to 5.0 magnification and here are some results from this week , you can find more Macro experienses on my blog if you are intrested .
one meat fly drying up on my red rose after the rain
black ant looking after the aphids sitting on Hedera helix / common ivy
tiny crabspider on a marygold flower petal 2.5 magnification
same spider at 5.0 magnification :)
one bee caught by a wasp spider
the wasp spider way to big for this lens even at 2.5 magnification :)
face to face with an earwig at 5.0 magnification
same earwig at 2.5 magnification they do keep runnning most of the time while taking pictures :)
top view of the earwig at 2.5 magnification.
and finally a red rose with raindrops at 2.5 magnification
Alll images created by me with my Sony A7II + Laowa Venus 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5x Ultra Macro with 2.5 magnification + Godox tt685s flashunit and Pringlers diffuser.
and yes I've been using the same can for +/- 6 years now
Have a great weekend
The close up photography makes them looks so oddly special and attractive in their own way. Amazing looking at it from a different perspective through the lens.
it is indeed a whole different world and often reminds me of a book i had to read at school ,
