I'm a bit doubtful. This community has good info in pinned posts, but is not active at all and has just over 50 members.
I recently joined a Discord channel from The terminal which is "Your one-stop location for learning about destinations on the Blockchain both Hive and Steem & Discord" according to their community

The people in the discord are very helpful and have a lot of knowledge. The community is bigger, but has no pinned posts with basic info. Secondly the name does not reveal it's a beginners community and the community cannot be found with terms like newbie or beginner. So I doubt that beginners will easily find their way to the discord of the community to get help.
I'll contact one of the admins of the Terminal discord I know to see how she thinks about it.
